All our products are non-brominated and antimony-free. They are also non-toxic, reducing the spread of flame and subsequent smoke emission levels. They have been designed to meet both present and future legislative requirements, conforming to current and projected health, safety and environmental standards and legislation.
Our marine FR product “Emalfon” is designed to provide an effective flame retardant finish to a range of substrates. It is a leading edge technology specifically developed for flame retarding mass transit seating fabrics, primarily in the aircraft sector, as well as the carpeting and furnishing industries.
Other reasons for using our product are:-
- The resultant effluent from the process is environmentally friendly.
- It is easy to apply and simple to process.
- It has a very low impact on the colour of the textile with no colour bleeding.
- It has a minimal effect on the handle of the textile.
